*Our Abalone Shells are from the West Coast and are collected by a variety of people.

*Shells are traditionally used to burn smudging herbs in. Pieces of Cedar, Sage or Sweetgrass can be placed in the shell and lit. It then can be left in a room (never unattended) or carried throughout an area to effectively "smudge" it.
